1. Understand the Exam Guide and go through community exam guide.


Community Exam Guide:


Focus on key sections:

  • VCF Architecture and Components

  • Lifecycle Management with SDDC Manager

  • Deploying and managing WLDs

  • Integrating vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T, vRealize Suite

  • Troubleshooting VCF



2. Hands-on Practice is Critical

  • Use VMware HOL (Hands-on Labs): Search for “VCF” labs on https://labs.hol.vmware.com

  • Deploy VCF in nested lab (if resources permit) or get familiar with:

    • SDDC Manager UI & SSH

    • Workload Domain deployment

    • Password rotation & certificates

    • Lifecycle Management (Bundles, LCM logs)



 3. Learn VCF Day 2 Operations

  • Know how to:

    • Replace certificates

    • Rotate passwords using API or UI

    • Expand or delete domains

    • Monitor SDDC health report.

  • Course: VMware VMware Cloud Foundation: Deploy, Configure, Manage [V5.2]

7. Exam Tips

  • The exam is scenario-based: Understand how VCF is applied in real environments.

  • Expect:

    • 70 questions

    • Time: ~135 minutes

    • Format: Single/multiple choice
